I've no problem in agreeing that it is one.
Still, it works, it is a minimal added burden (the C stub code is
ridiculous) and it is the minimal possible patch I can imagine.

I also surely agree that upstream should be notified and should remove
the extra binding burden using the more precise function from
lablgtk2. Until this is released and tested by upstream, I found my NMU
is the best possible temporary solution.
