What is the status of this bug?

Is it up to the package maintainer to disable cloog/ppl for hppa and
try the build again?

Speaking professionally, CodeSourcery enables cloog/ppl for our
toolchain products, but we do a lot of additional testing to verify
everything is working properly.

At the end of the day, without a way to fail the source only upload
build when the FAIL list changes, this will continue to be a problem
for source only upload architectures like hppa. This type of problem
could happen to any architecture. We need stricter build failure
controls. I would suggest that the debian gcc package maintain a known
good FAIL/XFAIL list and fail the build if that doesn't match. When a
build fail happens the porters (like myself) should be contacted
immediately to determine the cause of the regressions and fix the
problem.

Cheers,
Carlos.
