Still smells like a bug in g-p-m though. As the original bug submitter reported, this issue still happens, just less often. My guess is, that with uswsusp installed timing is a bit different, that's why the bug is triggered (more often). Adding a Conflicts might be a temporary workaround but it isn't a proper bug fix for this issue.
