Package: qemu-system
Version: 0.11.1-2
Severity: serious
Justification: Policy 3.5

After installing the latest qemu packages, I found qemu would no longer
run due to a missing library dependency.

% ldd /usr/bin/qemu-system-i386 | grep gss
libgssapi_krb5.so.2 => /usr/lib/libgssapi_krb5.so.2 (0x00007f126be38000)

I had to install the "libgssapi-krb5-2" package to get it working again.
Not sure why the Debian package build process didn't pick this up.

Note that this problem also occurs in "qemu-kvm" as of the latest
version. I'll be reporting it there as well.

Ah, thanks. I wasn't aware that ldd worked recursively.

This appears to have been dealt with in Debian bug #518632. The
problem occurred in the lenny version of libcurl3-gnutls and has been
fixed for squeeze, so no further action is necessary.

> This is not kvm or qemu bug.

Right, agreed.

Thanks again for the info. Closing this and the other bug.
