miro currently depends on python (<< 2.6). This is not bad per se; however, when rebuilt in an environment with Python 2.6 as the default version, it still didn't build Python extensions for 2.6 and still depended on python (<< 2.6). Thus, your package will block migration of new python-defaults to testing.
