The key part would seem to be this: > | ++ uname -r > | + '[' 2.6.32-3-amd64 = 2.6.32-4-amd64 ']' > | + echo 'Warning: kernel headers don'\''t match running Linux version.' > | Warning: kernel headers don't match running Linux version. And the real answer to this would be to convert this package to use m-a rather than it's home-grown alternative (which predates the availability of m-a). Installing matching headers for your kernel is the short term workaround. I'm not really sure what to do with this one now. Popcon shows a rather surprising number of users, but I have a hard time believing it. The laptop I had with one of these in it is all but dead, and I'm not aware of anything newer using these. I'm tempted to just have the package removed, as I can't usefully test it anymore, but if some actual users put their hand up and give it some actual love, I don't mind continuing to sponsor its presence in the distro...
