Hello, I am forwarding a bug in Debian regarding dicoweb, the problem is that settings.py is both a conf file & python module, hence I cannot put it in /etc (where a conf file should exist) because the rest of python files won't find it! Yet when I put in /usr/share/dicoweb, and then users edit it to configure their settings, that file would get overwritten on the next package upgrade of dicoweb.

--- Begin Message ---Package: dicoweb Version: 2.0-7 Severity: Serious Coin,The configuration file '/usr/share/dicoweb/settings.py' is not in /etc and not a conffile (in the dpkg meaning), so, besides being in a weird location and bothering users, it will be overwritten each time this package is upgraded ; this is a violation of the Debian Policy. Please fix this as soon as possible, to ensure this package is not removed in Squeeze.Regards. -- Marc Dequènes (Duck)pgplC1AnhObWk.pgp
