It's unfortunate that tuareg-mode doesn't compile with emacs22 but:
emacs22 is not meant to be released with squeeze [1] (actually, it's
planned for removal… I didn't find any RoM bug though) and is not in
testing. Thus, why should we care then about this issue? We could simply
desactivate byte-compilation of tuareg-mode for emacs22.

Upstream should definitely fix this problem, but on our side, I think that
this bug is not "serious". IMO, It's at most a "normal" bug.
