Package: libnet-sftp-foreign-perl Version: 1.42+dfsg-1 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
libnet-sftp-foreign-perl doesn't work after installation. When trying to use this module, a perl script will fail silently (with exit code 0). I straced my script and was able to determine that the cause of failure was missing dependencies. This package should also depend on: libio-pty-perl libexpect-perl libnet-sftp-foreign-perl works as expected after these packages are installed. -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0.5 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-2-amd64 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages libnet-sftp-foreign-perl depends on: ii openssh-client [ssh-clie 1:5.1p1-5 secure shell client, an rlogin/rsh ii perl 5.10.0-19lenny2 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction libnet-sftp-foreign-perl recommends no packages. libnet-sftp-foreign-perl suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
