Please could you provide the output of "ldd /usr/bin/ufraw" ?
I've just extracted the copy of ufraw_0.16-3+b1_i386.deb from the archive
and:
$ ldd usr/bin/ufraw 2>/dev/null|grep exiv
libexiv2.so.9 => not found
(the machine I tested on doesn't have exiv installed, hence not finding
the library).
