reportbug, made me do it the way I did, for reportbug there is no "gnome-about-me" >> Backtrace: > > That's not really a backtrace :-) Sorry, I was only trying to help out. > We apparently need a dependency on evolution-data-server since me->book > doesn't > seem to be optional. You're absolutely right! I had evolution-data-server and everything pretty much related to evolution removed since I don't use Evolution. Once I installed evolution-data-server my gnome-about-me is working again :) Therefor, adding evolution-data-server as dependency would definitely take care of that :) Regards, Adnan On Wed, Aug 11, 2010 at 12:57 AM, Emilio Pozuelo Monfort <po...@debian.org> wrote: > reassign 592525 gnome-control-center > thanks > > Hi, > > On 10/08/10 20:36, Adnan Hodzic wrote: >> Package: gnome-about >> Version: 2.30.2-1 >> Severity: grave >> Justification: renders package unusable >> >> When I try to run Gnome-about (gnome-about-me) it doesn't start at all. > > gnome-about != gnome-about-me > >> >> Backtrace: > > That's not really a backtrace :-) > >> >> absin...@havoc:~$ gnome-about-me >> >> (gnome-about-me:2725): libebook-WARNING **: e-book.c:2229: cannot activate >> book: Failed to execute program /usr/lib/evolution/e-addressbook-factory: >> Success >> >> >> (gnome-about-me:2725): libebook-WARNING **: e-book.c:2229: cannot activate >> book: Failed to execute program /usr/lib/evolution/e-addressbook-factory: >> Success >> >> >> about-me-properties-ERROR **: Failed to execute program >> /usr/lib/evolution/e-addressbook-factory: Success >> aborting... >> Aborted >> absin...@havoc:~$ > > I've had to uninstall evolution-data-server to reproduce it.
