Hi,

python-gi is not installable in unstable, in any architecture. The
reason for uninstallability on i386 is:

  python-gi (= 0.6.0-1) depends on one of: - python-gobject (= 2.21.4-1)
  python-gobject (= 2.21.4-1) and python-gi (= 0.6.0-1) conflict

I didn't check the reason on the other archs but I guess it is the same.
As a consequence, python-gi-dbg is uninstallable as well.

Hi,

python-gobject 2.21.3 (without introspection support) has been
reintroduced into unstable, closing this bug report then.

Cheers
