Oh, on further notice, the situation in the sarge kernel is different, well, it should work for kernel-build-2.6.8-powerpc, but the user complained about some kernel-headers-2.6.8-powerpc crap. there was never such a package, and never anything dependended on it, so i think the situation can be closed on powerpc.
