Hi! I cannot reproduce this failure. hostap-source builds fine with m-a on my system.
Perhaps submitter have no configured kernel source installed, so the
link /lib/module/2.6.12-1-k7/build/ -> /usr/src/linux-source-2.6.12
points to nothing or he removed the .config for some reasons?
Severity could be decreased, because grave is not suitable here. I would
say normal or important maximaly.
