Package: mondo
Version: 2.04-6

Here is some more info :

As already described, when booting a CD created with mondo, I get many errors.

The first one is :
/sbin/init: 652: grep : not found (this is the call to PauseForRaids)

From there on, I get errors for every use of a command that is external to
busybox.

When I type commands, the autocompletion works, but only commands internal to
busybox get executed :

# /bin/grep
sh: /bin/grep: not found

So, there is really something wrong with the way busybox handles the PATH.

But...
I recompiled mindi-busybox with Joey's patch : I still get the same problem.
I changed busybox for an older version I took from a working mondo-CD : still
the same.
I've also tried the CVS stable versions of busybox and mindi : always the
same...
I just tried the following : I've restored a Sarge system from an old working
Mondo CD. I've replaced the busybox used by mindi on it with the new one (the
patched version that didn't work). I've created an archive... and it boots
perfectly.

So, maybe the problem isn't that much in busybox, but rather in the way it is
used in the boot process ?

I hope this can help...

Thierry
