The template is adding to the configuration;
lxc.cgroup.devices.allow = c 4:X rwm
these give to the guest, host tty access.

Steps to reproduce;
- on host terminal (not tty1, or change below)
sudo lxc-create  -n wheezy -f lxc-create-wheezy.conf -t debian -- -d wheezy
sudo lxc-start -n wheezy
-login
mknod /root/tty1 c 4 1
echo guest > /root/tty1
- look on host tty1 (Ctrl-Alt-F1)
