This is NOT a bug in xine-ui. I've already correctly re-assigned this and marked it as affecting two other packages (gxine and xine-ui), but it is not limited to those two packages (see below). I've also fixed the bug in upstream xine-lib hg. This fix will find its way into Debian either via new upstream releases or new Debian revisions, if I choose to backport the patch instead. There is NOTHING to be fixed, or at least not worthwhile fixing, regarding this bug, elsewhere: fixing it in xine-lib fixes it elsewhere.
