Hi, during a test with piuparts I noticed your package fails to upgrade from 'squeeze'. It installed fine in 'squeeze', then the upgrade to 'wheezy' fails because it tries to overwrite other packages files without declaring a replaces relation. See policy 7.6 at http://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-relationships.html#s-replaces >From the attached log (scroll to the bottom...): Selecting previously unselected package libjavascriptcoregtk-1.0-dev. Unpacking libjavascriptcoregtk-1.0-dev (from .../libjavascriptcoregtk-1.0-dev_1.6.1-5+b1_amd64.deb) ... dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/libjavascriptcoregtk-1.0-dev_1.6.1-5+b1_amd64.deb (--unpack): trying to overwrite '/usr/share/gir-1.0/JSCore-1.0.gir', which is also in package libwebkit-dev 1.2.7-0+squeeze1 This bug affects the piuparts tests of several other packages. I'll set affects ... otherpackage and found ... otherpackage/version on this bug when they are discovered. With this tagging piuparts-analyze can detect them and move the failed logs to the bugged category. cheers, Andreas
