Dear Rene, thank you a lot, I'm understanding what you are saying. I'm 
expecting to get access to the machine where the culprit lives in a 
couple of days - I'll report here once again with more information. For 
now: I've been upgrading to the current libreoffice in testing (Version 
1:3.4.6-2).
