Thanks Andreas, the package does not have regression tests, so I would suggest to wait for upstream's inspection to make sure the patch will not introduce bugs. For the version 2.0.0, it is marked beta, so I think it should be rather a target for experimental at the moment. But the patch should apply as the 'lemon' convenience code copy in 2.0.0 is unchanged. (By the way, it is picard-tools that needed snappy-java).
