You should use an appropriate version number for a squeeze update. Then we can provide the source and binary debdiffs that the release team has requested. If they like it, we can ask Marvin to upload it to stable or can do a non-maintainer upload. Note that I can't easily test it myself --- I am in the US, where there's an entirely different tax submission process. I just generally prefer for there to be fewer serious bugs in squeeze.
