severity 673185 grave stop This problem affects gnome-shell even more. If I'm on battery the gnome-shell process is killed but not restarted afterwards. The only way to obtain a somehow stable X/gnome session was to restart gdm3. I still get the gnome-shell respawn but I least I'm not forced into logging out after login.
