Thanks for this analysis. I will go through it before preparing the next upload. Some small comments: I don't yet plan to remove the GFDL stuff, will do that later in the release cycle... It's just too much documents and so I will only remove them when I feel it is really necessary. I see the LDPL license as free unless there will emerge a real consensus in the project regarding the "identify contributors" clauses in various licenses.
