openssl+courier.
Can you please check if installing zlib1g-dev on your system fixes this
problem ?
# ln -s libz.so.1 libz.so
That's a bit easier and appears to fix it.
Sure, but this can't be done by the courier-ssl package.
It's just a work around anyway.
Whatever is looking for libz.so should probably be looking for libz.so.1
or libz should provide the symlink.
