Package: spamassassin Version: 3.3.2-3.1 Severity: serious User: debian...@lists.debian.org Usertags: piuparts
Hi, during a test with piuparts I noticed your package failed to install, remove+purge, and install again. Like a plain failure on initial install this makes the package too buggy for a release, thus the severity. This is often a problem with the home directory of a system user: the user is not deleted during purge (which is fine), but the home directory is removed. Since the user already exists on the next installation, adduser won't recreate the home. >From the attached log (scroll to the bottom...): [...] 1m32.7s INFO: Reinstalling after purge [...] Selecting previously unselected package spamassassin.
