Hi everyone involved on this bug, Good news this time. I looked at this problem with strace and I now realize that the build uses gosmore itself to process lots of data and that takes longer than I expected. So the loop using 100% cpu is not an endless one. I rebuilt the package giving it some more time and it builds fine. So reading the comments from others on this bug I guess that this package is OK for wheezy.
