Sorry for being unclear; I didn't mean replacing the file, but udpating the values within the file, i.e. lines 44/45 (in git): 44 NAME=`hostname` 45 update_conf "$NAME" "HOSTNAME" "/etc/psad/psad.conf" This will overwrite the HOSTNAME variable in the file (also on updates), which could have been been changed by the admin. - And that's where I'm not sure ...
