Hmm, the webkit thing seems to have at least yet another bug :-(. The bug doesn't occur on my most recent debug build of libwebkitgtk-3.0-0. But I could reproduce the crash several times today with the release build. The crash was on different code locations and with completely different stack traces.
Further research is needed here...


And unfortunately, trying to get an informative stacktrace in gdb, I'm
now hitting the SIGTRAP issue [2] :-(

I don't believe that we would have much benefit of any stack trace on this bug. I'm still using the Kernel 3.2.23 with the futex patch [2] compiled with GCC4.4. Yet another ia64 problem.
