While our kernel packagers discuss the best way to solve this, linux-wlan-ng does not work anymore. The modules should be recompiled. For people who can't wait for the official package (I can imagine Bradley wants to wait that the kernel situation is stabilised), here is an apt-link to my personal package (recompile + correct wep key translation). Please note I (lazily) made package version+1, so you'll probably have to switch manually back to debian version when Bradley produces the official modules. deb http://robert.cheramy.net/debian linux-wlan-ng/ deb-src http://robert.cheramy.net/debian linux-wlan-ng/ Cheers, tibob Notes 1. http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=284356 ) -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.4.27-1-k7 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ISO-8859-1) (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_US.iso88591) Versions of packages linux-wlan-ng depends on: ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-19 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii sysvinit 2.86-5 System-V like init ii wireless-tools 27-1 Tools for manipulating Linux Wirel -- no debconf information --------------------------------------- Received: (at 286305-done) by bugs.debian.org; 5 Nov 2005 15:52:33 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Nov 05 07:52:33 2005 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from host82-126.pool80180.interbusiness.it (host85-126.pool80180.interbusiness.it) [80.180.126.82] by spohr.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.36 1 (Debian)) id 1EYQLI-0007Kd-00; Sat, 05 Nov 2005 07:52:33 -0800 Received: from garfield.casa-tassi ([192.168.0.1] helo=localhost.localdomain) by host85-126.pool80180.interbusiness.it with esmtp (Exim 3.36 #1 (Debian)) id 1EYQQT-0007G7-00 for <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; Sat, 05 Nov 2005 16:57:53 +0100 Received: from tassi by localhost.localdomain with local (Exim 4.54) id 1EYQKn-0006CL-7k for [EMAIL PROTECTED]; Sat, 05 Nov 2005 16:52:01 +0100 Date: Sat, 5 Nov 2005 16:52:01 +0100 From: Enrico Tassi <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: fixed in a really old NMU Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: inline User-Agent: Mutt/1.5.11 Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.60-bugs.debian.org_2005_01_02 (1.212-2003-09-23-exp) on spohr.debian.org X-Spam-Level: X-Spam-Status: No, hits=-2.5 required=4.0 tests=BAYES_00,RCVD_IN_SORBS autolearn=no version=2.60-bugs.debian.org_2005_01_02 fixed one year ago in NMU -- Enrico Tassi -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
