FWIW, a simple recompilation against xulrunner 20.0 was sufficient to make the extension work again, so requesting a binNMU could be all that is needed. That said, I still think it's a bug, that an upgrade of xulrunner/iceweasel breaks the extension without apt preventing that situation.
