Package: libwine-unstable wine-bin-unstable Version: 1.5.7-6 Severity: grave Justification : renders package unusable
Dear Maintainer, wine expects various files to be in the /usr/share/wine/ directory, but these files are actually installed in the /usr/share/wine-unstable/ directory. While this doesn’t render the package unusable for an existing wine installation, this does cause wine to not be able to create a new wine prefix for a user, because it can’t locate the wine.inf file. It also won’t be able to update an existing outdated wine prefix or display certain fonts. While I didn’t test it, there is a PPD file in /usr/share/wine-unstable/, so wine might not be able to print anything at the moment. Linking to every entry of /usr/share/wine-unstable/ from /usr/share/wine/ solved the issue. Regards, -- Sylvain Boilard
