the Debian package of Helium, version 1.7~pre20090428 with many patches:

fails to compile with the current GHC (mostly due to the changed
exception code):

What is the maintenance state of helium? Are you planning to release (or
pre-release) a version compatible with GHC 7.6 in the near future, or
should we remove helium from Debian?
