Hi Tino, I am Debian developer and a user of syncevolution.
I notice you haven't made an upload in more than a year, and have a release prepared in git for almost 6 months. On top of that, there is now this RC bug that according to upstream is solved by upgrade to new upstream release. Are you still interested in maintaining syncevolution (which I hope you are), then please fix this bug. No problem if you have lost interest - I can then take over from here. We could also team up and maintain this package together, if you like. I use CDBS, however, and syncevolution currently uses short-form dh sequencer which I cannot handle - so that implies you being ok with me repackaging to use CDBS (and, if needed, guide you how cool CDBS is).
