1:3.8.3-3 with network-manager-gnome downgraded to Recommends works fine for me on kfreebsd-i386. Nothing unexpected so far. (Except that it didn't build fine twice in a row.) But then again of course there's no network-manager-dev build-dependency on that architecture. So I tried on i386, too: Works perfectly fine, too. If I click on Network, I get a pop up saying "The system network services are not compatible with this version" which is correct as I'm using wicd.
