This bug doesn't really provide enough info to be really useful, could we have your /proc/cpuinfo as well as lspci output, and the model and manufacturer of your motherboard, and other such info ? Also, it would be helpful if you tested the noapic or other funny irq/acpi/whatever x86 options (or someone knowledgeable with this brokeness can suggest more adequate advice here). This is clearly an issue with a limited amount of motherboards, and probably due to some missing or misdocumented command line option or loosy x86 hardware in general, but hardly fits an RC definition, thus downgrading to important.
