Sorry again for the late response.
I have made the package explicitly reference the 3.01 version of the
PHP License. (It was referring to "PHP License" before, so that
should have been enough to imply the latest version, but now the
reference is explicit.)
It seems some people still have a problem with this clause:
6. Redistributions of any form whatsoever must retain the following
acknowledgment:
"This product includes PHP software, freely available from
<http://www.php.net/software/>".
At this point, I'm not interested in relicensing the package under
anything but the PHP License because it means tracking down four years
worth of contributors. If you guys have a problem with the 3.01
license, you'll have to conveince the PHP Group to release one that is
more to your liking as opposed to bugging PEAR developers who might be
in a position similar to mine (lots of contributors).
