If you look at dak history you'll see this did not happen during the
vtk 6.0 to vtk 6.1 transition. Hence my nervosity to have this fixed
ASAP, before transition.

Make sense. So if you go this path, I believe libvtk6-dev should
`Provides: libvtk-dev` for future transition.
