Hello, chef-solr is not installable in sid, on any architecture where it is available. This is the case since at least 2014-04-05. On amd64, armel, armhf, i386, mips, mipsel, powerpc, s390x, we have that chef-solr (=10.12.0+dfsg-2) depends on chef (>= 0.10.10). However, chef 11.8.2-3 has a Breaks: chef-solr (<< 11). On hurd-i386, kfreebsd-amd64, kfreebsd-i386, the problem is that chef (=10.12.0+dfsg-2) itself is not installable since it depends on ohai (>= 6).
