the oldest version of freemind in Debian's archive is 0.9.0. Although your frustration about this bug is understandable, the application is not unusable. It is still possible to create new mindmaps or to use existing ones, if they were created with versions of Freemind in Debian. Packaging the latest upstream release is the best way forward which should fix this bug too. Severity important is thus more appropriate. Regards, Markus
