Seems like you're trying to use nouveau after having used nvidia (from
the Debian packages?). Please mind the two don't play well together and
at least the Debian package in non-free blacklists the nouveau kernel
module.
You should probably try cleaning your system from anything nvidia first.
If you have troubles with that contact one of Debian's support channels
specifying how you installed the nvidia driver.
