I changed debian/rules so that this feature is no longer used. The patched version of vim I have builds properly on a sarge chroot and in the sid chroot available on raptor.debian.org. Does this imply that it will build properly even on the s390 auto-builder? If you want to test it, the patched source package is available on raptor.debian.org in /home/zack. Or, alternatively, on the web at http://people.debian.org/~zack/stalla/ Please let me know if you can test it in advance or if you like us to upload this version and wait the auto-builder do its work.
