Serge Hallyn is really good about quickly packaging up his new releases (he is maintainer upstream and in Debian (co-maintainer) and Ubuntu), so best bet is to just email him with the patch, or make a pull request on GitHub, whichever you prefer.

Also, can you review this additional fixup: https://github.com/cgmanager/cgmanager/pull/16 ?
