Package: python-cryptography Version: 0.6-1 Severity: serious Justification: fails to build from source (but built successfully in the past)
OpenSSL 1.0.1j includes some incompatible changes in the public API; specifically, certain APIs now return a different error in some cases. This causes a test suite failure while building cryptography. (I am packaging the new upstream release, 0.6.1, which fixes this issue) -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.16-2-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_ZA.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_ZA.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages python-cryptography depends on: ii libc6 2.19-11 ii libssl1.0.0 1.0.1j-1 ii python 2.7.8-1 ii python-cffi 0.8.6-1 ii python-pkg-resources 5.5.1-1 ii python-six 1.8.0-1 pn python:any <none> python-cryptography recommends no packages.
