Yay for the quick ftp-masters. I preferred to downgrade to important for now, and plan to fix the bug with a minimal upload post-freeze. Thanks to #debian-arm, there is now a fix for armhf/arm64 as well (-ffunction-sections is the required compile flag to make it link fine). In theory, it does not even require a sourceful upload, just setting the FFLAGS1 environment variable to -ffunction-sections, but fixing this properly in debian/rules along with a fix for the s390x mpi link error looks like the saner solution.
