Great! Thank you fixing it! I've tested 4.2.8-2 (built from your branch), and confirmed with pbuilder that: RT (wheezy) -> 4.2.8-1 upgrade succeeds. RT + assettracker (wheezy) -> 4.2.8-1 upgrade fails. RT (wheezy) -> 4.2.8-2 upgrade succeeds.
