Hello,
This is a serious bug filed against your package because it
build-depends on xlibs-dev, which as announced in [1] a while ago, is
no longer available in sid. This makes your package fail to build from
source.

To fix this bug, you need to update your build-dependencies and
substitute xlibs-dev for the list of individual X development
libraries that your package needs to be built. You can find detailed
information about how to do that in the DependsXlibsDev wiki page [2].

As indicated by the Release Team [3], the full transition from XFree86
to Xorg is a release blocker for Etch, which means that Etch will not
be released until this bug is fixed (or your package removed from
testing). So, please, try to fix in a timely manner.

The number of affected packages by the xlibs-dev transition is huge,
so if you feel like helping with patches or uploads, feel free to
follow the instructions contained in the wiki page above. A list of
affected packages can be found here [4].

Finally, if there's a strong reason for which your package should not
be NMUed, please note so in this bug report. Prospective NMUers will
read your reasoning, and will decide if it's strong enough to delay
their upload.
Thanks for your collaboration!
Unfortunately, I am no longer able to update my yorick package, because
my PGP (!) key for Debian no longer works. I spent some time in August and
September 2005 trying to straighten that out, but ran out of time. The
conclusion was that I should re-apply as a new developer, which I haven't
yet done. I'll try again, but I'm unsure I can make that happen within one
week.
I have transitioned yorick to sourceforge.net, so I would appreciate it if
any NMU to fix this build-depends problem would also change the yorick
homepage to yorick.sourceforge.net, and my email address to munro at
users dot sourceforge dot net (from ftp-icf.llnl.gov/pub/Yorick and munro1
at llnl dot gov, respectively). As soon as I can get my Debian developer
status reinstated, I would like to upgrade the Debian package to version
2.1.02, which is the current sourceforge version. The 1.5.14 Debian package
has fallen sadly out of date, since I haven't been able to upgrade it.
In the meantime, it would be nice if the Debian package at least pointed
users to the correct yorick homepage.
I'm sorry for the hassle.
