Package: src:linux Version: 4.2.1-2 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
"apt-get dist-upgrade" installed the kernel linux-image-4.2.0-1-686-pae (4.2.1-2) on Sun Oct 4 2015, 12:06:36. Since then, the system has frozen twice. When frozen, the system is completely unresponsive on both keyboard, mouse and on the network (doesn't even respond to ping). I need to hold in the power button for 5-10 seconds to let BIOS reboot it. I will try rebooting into the previous kernel, to see if that makes the system stop crashing. -- Package-specific info: ** Version: Linux version 4.2.0-1-686-pae (debian-ker...@lists.debian.org) (gcc version 4.9.3 (Debian 4.9.3-4) ) #1 SMP Debian 4.2.1-2 (2015-09-27) ** Command line: BOOT_IMAGE=/boot/vmlinuz-4.2.0-1-686-pae root=UUID=c666ea19-ecb5-4300-b375-d9e2c748e97a ro quiet ** Not tainted ** Kernel log: [ 9.333445] EXT4-fs (sda1): mounted filesystem with ordered data mode.
