severity 805315 normal retitle 805315 cdbs: will FTBFS when d/compat becomes mandatory thanks Hi, This issue has affected other consumers of cdbs, which rely on cdbs to create debian/compat. Lintian flags these as using compat 5, which what they will end up using in general. Unfortunately, it means I have not accounted for them in my deprecation plan nor filed bugs against them. I have devised a work around in dh_clean, which (AFAICT) is sufficient to avoid the issue (at least in the debhelper-5.sh test). I will keep that until debian/compat files become mandatory. I have kept this bug against cdbs (with lower severity) about debhelper-5.sh as it will FTBFS once d/compat becomes mandatory. Jonas Smedegaard: > [...] > > Right, that is what I meant.
