Dear maintainer,

mpi4py has test failures on s390x (only) when rebuilt with mpi-defaults
using openMPI.
You can see the full build log on
https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=mpi4py&arch=s390x&ver=1.3.1%2Bhg20131106-2%2Bb4&stamp=1455830603

In ubuntu doko applied a patch to just ignore the tests results in s390x
only, really unsure if this is correct, but just a data point:

Indeed now the package builds on s390x and some other architectures
(powerpc, sparc64, armel, ppc64), but mpicc started to segfault in mips
and mipsel, do you have some clues about what may be wrong here?

https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=mpi4py&arch=mips&ver=2.0.0-1&stamp=1458163273

That would be #818909.

Let's close this as the s390x issue is fixed and there's a separate bug for the new mips* ftbfs.

Emilio
