Either you got faulty RAM or something, either it's a really really
well-hidden bug. Care to try valgrinding it?

You'll need valgrind and sylpheed-claws compiled with debug symbols. run
$ valgrind --tool=memcheck --error-limit=no sylpheed-claws and report
the full log.

You could also try the 2.0.0-rc4 at
http://claws.sylpheed.org/snapshots/
